Smart Cities' Jury Meet Conducted To Honour Best Endeavours

A high profile eminent jury gathered to acknowledge, reward and honour the best smart transformational ideas for impacting lives in 21 different categories. The jury agreed on the outcome of the smart idea resulting in a better living experience to be a parameter for smart cities. 

BW Businessworld Smart Cities Conclave & Awards is a platform that endeavours to engage smart cities thought leaders and innovators to bring forth smart and sustainable ideas that can link our progressive cities to solutions that are best suited for them. Every growing industry requires a platform of recognition that celebrates the best work out there. Transformational ideas, cutting edge execution and much more. Solutions that improve lives and stories that inspire other players to do better.

BW Businessworld will be hosting the 7th most definitive and influential gathering of the Smart Cities Ecosystem to discuss the way forward and recognise the best work from the Cities, States & Industry.

The eminent jury comprised leaders of the highest quality including Dr. Aruna Sharma, Former Secretary – Steel, Govt of India & Currently Member - Digitization Committee, RBI; Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, Former Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt of Punjab; Shankar Aggarwal, Former Secretary, Urban Development & Labour, and Employment, Govt of India; and Tanmoy Chakrabarty, Group Government Affairs Officer, Tata Sons Private Limited. 

The jury had a field day looking at smart transformational ideas and execution bringing a change in lives and inspiring ideas to be replicated. The jury believes smart cities should make things simpler for citizens bringing happiness and should have a liveability factor with the basic amenities including top-class infrastructure, healthcare, and water resource. 

Some of the speakers at the event include Chetan B. Sanghi, Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shiv Anant Tayal, Commissioner, Raipur Municipal Corporation, Vikram Sahgal, IG of Police, CRPF, Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, CEO, Dehradun Smart City Limited, among others.

The best projects and endeavours working behind the successful execution and development of Govt. of India's Smart Cities Mission and rejuvenation of cities in India will be announced at the 7th edition of BW Businessworld National Smart Cities Conclave & Awards on November 29, 2019, in Port Blair
