India is the second biggest in reporting security breaches in their organization. Nearly 75 percent of the organisations report a breach in India, which shows the security concern in India.

Apart from that, 23 percent of the organisations said they were breached multiple times. What this says is that the security process put in place is not good enough.

The alarming prospect here is that you get breached once, but what is the learning from that, and if it is effective.

India has a huge number of vulnerable systems that need to take into consideration. RBI reported nearly 50 thousand cyber frauds in 2018-19 which includes private banks.

When you're putting a lot of security and still see the frauds happening, it's the human that which comes into play and a lot of this compromise happens because of it.

Nearly 4 percent of the population when they get a spam email, normally click on the email, and it is the easiest and the most commonly used for a hacker to get into your network.

If you look at today’s world, the threat landscape keeps changing. The hackers are looking at advanced technologies which are a challenge for security.

Michael Joseph, Director Systems Engineering, Fortinet said, “Fortinet being a security vendor, we came up with this approach for security architecture where we are talking about ensuring that your solution is broad enough which covers all aspects, whether it's the security, application, IoT device.”
