Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to recently hired recruits on 22 July, as announced by the prime minister's office on Friday. This Rozgar Mela will take place at 44 locations nationwide and will focus on recruitment for central government departments.

The selected candidates, hailing from different parts of the country, will be joining various ministries and departments within the government. These include the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel and Training, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Rozgar Mela is an important step in fulfilling the prime minister's commitment to prioritise employment generation. It is expected to act as a catalyst for further employment opportunities and offer meaningful prospects for the youth to participate in national development and empowerment.

To enhance their skills, the newly appointed individuals will have the chance to undergo training through the Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This portal offers access to more than 580 e-learning courses in an 'anywhere-any device' learning format.
