People Forget To Love People They Work With

Dr. Shruti Nada Poddar, Founder, Nada Vibronics said, "People across the world are exactly the same everywhere with similar relationships, problems, insecurities, and tussles of power, There is no difference except the colours of the worlds and the forms of clothes that we wear and the accent of our voices."

In the tensions of everyday life, we unwittingly forget loving, appreciating and admiring people we work with. This was something which was deliberated upon at a panel discussion on ‘Nuanced application of ancient wisdom for leadership mantra’ at BW Wellbeing Summit 2018 organized by BW Businessworld at Hotel Imperial in New Delhi.

Dr. Shruti Nada Poddar, Founder, Nada Vibronics said, "People across the world are exactly the same everywhere with similar relationships, problems, insecurities, and tussles of power, There is no difference except the colours of the worlds and the forms of clothes that we wear and the accent of our voices.” She further added, "Leadership is all about leading ideas with people in this world. To lead people you have to be with people, work with people, understand people and also you have to love people. And often in the tension of everyday life, we forget to love the people with work with.”

Annu Kalra, Spiritually Inspired Author,& Guide, who was chairing the session maintained, “The synchronicity of life is such that we reach exactly where we want to be, where we need to be at any point of time and this wisdom has come from ancient traditions and not just from Hinduism. Almost every tradition there is something that brings  to this and this recognition is not just physical beings, not just mental or emotional beings but something else which is the essence of it that makes us spiritual. That recognition that we are not limited. I don’t claim to be unlimited. I have the reason to believe that it must be unlimited. I do know synchronists moments in life are constantly happening and if that receptivity is there, we will get exactly what we need to, including that it can apply from the traditional wisdom to the leadership.“

Swami Sarvalokananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narendrapur stated, “While travelling across the globe my devotees ask me, how do we manage the spiritual organisation and what is the secret of success. What I simply tell them that we may not have technical qualifications but we have great two qualifications for managing and running our institutions. Those two qualifications are dedication and devotion. If you abide by them, success is bound to come. You can solve any kind of challenge or problems in life. You can conquer everything with that.”

Sraddhalu Ranade, Educator, Scientist & Scholar, Aurobindo Ashram, “Corporate space is one of the most demanding, challenging, requiring the maximum deployment of our internal resources and is the most demanding in its outcome and results.  You are tested every day and every moment. There is no battleground in the world that is as demanding 24 hrs a day and 365 days a year which owes to your corporate life. Under these circumstances, we should take a cue from ‘Bhagvat Gita’, which states that in order to become a Samrat i.e. emperor of the world, you must first become a ‘Swarat’, which is the master of yourself. Self-rule will give you the capacity to rule everything. The inner space is the origin of all your circumstances and if you find yourself bind in a sticky problem and trace back its source, you may find many causes. But the essential source is something which will come back to you."
