Lord Karan Bilimoria, the British businessman and member of the House of Lords, expressed his optimism about reviving the manufacturing and distribution of Cobra Beer in India. As the founder of Cobra Beer, Bilimoria revealed his plans during an event in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Bilimoria shared the unfortunate setback that Cobra Beer faced due to the Bihar government's policy on prohibition, leading to the closure of their operations in India. Despite the brand's popularity and impressive growth, the prohibition announcement in 2016 disrupted their plans. However, he now looks forward to starting again in India.

While Cobra Beer exited the Indian market following the closure of its Bihar plant, it continues to thrive in the UK and enjoys successful export operations to 40 other countries.

Bilimoria highlighted Cobra Beer's widespread recognition in the UK, where it is distributed in numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making it a household name.

Founded in 1989 to complement pan-Asian cuisine, Cobra Beer, with its various variants, garnered significant success. Bilimoria, an alumnus of Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, joined the event as the guest of honor. During the ceremony, he also launched the Leadership program, a new initiative of the school.

The Hyderabad Public School, an integral part of Hyderabad's history, plans to invest approximately 75 crores in the next five years to enhance infrastructure and improve sports facilities.

During the event, Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhari emphasised the importance of pursuing excellence and teamwork, encouraging students to explore career opportunities in the Indian armed forces.
