Neha Verma Gandotra, a research professional entitle as ‘Mrs Gorgeous 2018’ at the finals of ‘Mrs India She Is India’ among 45 contestants across the country.

Apart from being judged in various rounds such as talent night, costume theme, ethnic wear, evening gown, Neha also had to clear the round of being recent mother where she had to leave her 8 months’ little daughter, Ridhvi, back home. “It was really tough to leave my daughter at home and focus on this pageant but i think my husband has been very supportive because of which I have achieved such title and I majorly owe it to my Dad for making me the person I am today”, Neha said.

During this event she pledged to stand against  the domestic violence prevailing in India. “Signs of domestic violence are not obvious and is not prevalent among lower or middle classes but among prominent class as well. We need not wait for any tragedy to happen and should be proactive enough to identify and stop it, so it’s not only about sympathising but empathising too. One message that I want to communicate to all the people out there is - if you are blessed then heal others’ rashes but if you suffer, then rise from your ashes”.

Mrs Gorgeous crown not only accounts for her beauty but for the mindset of changing the global prejudice towards Indian women as well. Her husband, Prateek Gandotra said, “It is a proud moment for us and for the country as well to have a Gorgeous woman inside out”.
