SP Hinduja, Chairman Of Hinduja Group, Dies At 87

SP Hinduja, the eldest of four Hinduja brothers and the chairman of the Hinduja Group died on Wednesday at the age of 87 in London, the family spokeswoman said. The statement stated that SP Hinduja had been ill for some time.

“Gopichand, Prakash, Ashok and the entire Hinduja family regret to announce the passing away of our family patriarch and Chairman of the Hinduja Group, Mr SP Hinduja today,” the family stated in a statement.

He (SP Hinduja) was a visionary and mentor to the family, passing down our late father, PD Hinduja’s founding principles and values. He and his brothers were instrumental in forging strong ties between his host country, the United Kingdom and his native country – India, according to the family.
