Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) on Friday said that it has secured new orders totaling Rs 1,008 crore in both domestic and international markets.

KPIL reported that the orders primarily consist of transmission and distribution (T&D) projects, with a total value of Rs 635 crore in both Indian and overseas markets. Additionally, the company has received orders worth Rs 373 crore for civil works related to buildings within India.

This achievement contributes to the company's robust order inflows of Rs 5,122 crore during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24 on a consolidated basis.

Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and CEO of KPIL, expressed his satisfaction with the consistent influx of new orders, particularly in the company's buildings and factories (B&F) segment and the international T&D business. He highlighted the continuous growth in the domestic civil business and expressed optimism about the promising growth prospects in the international T&D sector.

Mohnot further emphasised that KPIL's strong position as the lowest bidder (L1) for projects worth Rs 5,500 crore-plus provides a solid foundation for its future business outlook. The company aims to achieve a target order inflow of more than Rs 26,000 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24.
