Vox Pop: Maggi Is Back But Is It Safe?
Nestle India, which suffered a loss of Rs 450 crore because of the instant noodles since June, stated that it would continue with the existing formula of the product and would not change the ingredients

They say Maggi noodles takes two minutes to cook and in India never more than two minutes to find. But, a food scare saw them taken off the shelves after FSSAI claimed they contained dangerously high levels of lead and banned their production and sale.
The company has now resumed manufacturing of Maggi noodles at its Tahliwal, Himachal Pradesh factory.
Nestle India, which suffered a loss of Rs 450 crore because of the instant noodles since June, stated that it would continue with the existing formula of the product and would not change the ingredients.
And as BW Businessworld surveyed citizens and avid consumers of Maggi, we found that concerns about lead content are non-existant, in fact, youngsters and adults alike are celebrating the instant noodle’s comeback.
