Graphite-based batteries could be the next best alternative to Lithium-ion

Earth Energy EV, an Indian-origin automotive startup has recently launched electric two-wheelers such as the GLYDE +, EVOLVE R & EVOLVE Z in the Indian market. In terms of manufacturing facility, the Mumbai-based company says it has the capacity to produce 12,000 units per annum at its existing location and aims to expand it to 65,000 units per year with a newer facility soon. In the latest episode of BW Hotwires, Rushi Shenghani, Founder and CEO, Earth Energy tells Avishek Banerjee from BW Businessworld that the EVs of tomorrow could be powered by Graphite-based batteries rather than by Lithium-ion based ones
