Having worked in the media for more than 20 years as a journalist, producer, and network executive, Monika Shergill has steadily grown Netflix’s India offering since she joined four years ago.

With local series like ‘Ludo’, ‘AK vs. AK’, ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’, ‘Masaba Masaba’, ‘Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega’, and the reality show ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’, she and her team have gained audiences not only in India but around the world.

The year 2022 was a tough one for Netflix as the streaming platform experienced its first subscriber decline in ten years. However, Shergill stayed the course and continued its India journey without compromise.
