BW Businessworld To Host Digital India Summit

The event plans to promote the rise of Digital India, keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s vision of uniting India under the Digital banner

BW Businessworld is all set to host the Digital India Summit at Taj Palace, New Delhi on 26 May 2017, Friday. The day-long event will kick start at 9:15 AM, with an opening address by Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-chief, BW Businessworld.

The event plans to promote the rise of Digital India, keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s vision of uniting India under the Digital banner.

The summit includes talks by important dignitaries like Ravi Shankar Prasad, Honorable Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, India; Hemant Dabke, Vice President of Strategic Industries domain at SAP Indian Subcontinent; Sanjeev Gupta, General Manager, Microsoft India; HE Nadir Patel, High Commissioner for Canada to India; Smt. Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology India; Shri Priyank Kharge, Minister of state for Information Technology, Bio-technology and Tourism, Karnataka and Dr Lovneesh Chanana, Vice President of Digital Government to name a few.

Speaking to BW Businessworld about the event, Hemant Dabke said, “The Digital India Vision backed by strong execution is the backbone of new India. It is the binding program and the technology enabler for all the other flagship schemes such as smart cities, make in India and startup India. To me, it is not a program but a journey wherein innovation in technology solutions will pave the way for an inclusive growth story for India.
