SC To Announce Ayodhya Case Verdict Tomorrow

Tight security arrangements have been made throughout the country before the decision on the politically sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute.

The Supreme Court is scheduled to pronounce the verdict of the most awaited and sensitive case of Ayodhya land dispute tomorrow. A five-member constitution bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde, Justice Dhananjay Y Chandrachud, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice S Abdul Nazeer will deliver the verdict at 10.30 am on Saturday morning.

Today, CJI held a meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari and Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash Singh who informed him about the security arrangements and the condition of law and order in Uttar Pradesh.

In view of the Supreme Court's decision on the Ayodhya dispute, the UP government has decided to close all schools, colleges, educational institutions, training centres from November 9 to 11. A flag march was done in Lucknow today due to security arrangements.
