Khattar Launches Projects Worth Rs 1279 Cr In Haryana

The chief minister also announced four new drinking water projects for 66 villages of Nuh constituency worth Rs 306 crore

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday launched 157 projects worth Rs 1,279 crore and laid the foundation stone of 190 projects worth Rs 1,462 crore through video conferencing in Ferozepur Jhirka, Nuh in Haryana.

The chief minister also announced four new drinking water projects for 66 villages of Nuh constituency worth Rs 306 crore. He also announced the construction of a road from Nuh to Mundaka village which will start in November and to increase drinking water capacity from 55 LPCD (litre per capita demand) to 70 LPCD in 80 villages of Ferozepur Jhirka.


Taking to twitter, Khattar said that the rain well-based drinking water programme that will assist the residents of the Ferozepur Jhirka region is the largest initiative in the Nuh district. According to CM Khattar, this initiative would minimise water shortages and enhance infrastructure.

'The state government is providing 24-hour electricity to 5,600 villages. It is expected that by the end of this year, all the 6,200 villages of Haryana will have 24-hour electricity,' Khattar said.
