Samsung Confirms 26th July Launch For Next-Gen Foldable Devices

Samsung has said that its highly anticipated Unpacked event will take place on 26 July at 7 AM ET. Breaking away from tradition, the event will be held in Seoul, South Korea, as the company showcases its latest generation of foldable devices.
With pre-release leaks providing some insights, enthusiasts can expect new iterations of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. One of the notable features of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, as hinted by leaks, is a refined hinge mechanism that allows the device to close flat. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to come with a larger front-facing cover display, marking a significant change. Samsung's decision to start the event earlier than usual is attributed to hosting it from its home base.
To entice early adopters, Samsung is offering a USD 50 reservation credit for those willing to pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Galaxy Z Flip 5 sight unseen. Simply visiting the company's website and providing your name and email will secure the credit. Fortunately, this offer comes with no commitment, allowing customers to change their minds later on.
The Unpacked event will be streamed live on Samsung Newsroom India, Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 04.30 pm IST.
