In order to Prioritise their health and well-being, India's urban netizens are choosing high-quality food products with cutbacks on other spending, in inflationary times, the Ipsos Essentials April 2023 survey stated.

As per the survey, almost nine in ten Indian urban netizens (88 per cent) claimed to be consuming healthy foods, proactively managing their health and wellness through food and beverage choices.

A total of three in four global citizens polled (74 per cent) echoed similar views, by consuming healthy foods and beverages.

The report also mentioned that 88 per cent of Indian urban netizens claim to be buying products and services that help support their physical and mental well-being.

Also, three in four global citizens (75 per cent) too claimed to be making similar healthy choices in their purchase decisions.

"Urban netizens in India are making healthy food choices and even shelling out more for high-quality food products at the cost of trimming their budgets on discretionary spends, in times of inflation," said Archana Gupta, Country Service Line Leader, Market Strategy and Understanding (MSU), Ipsos India

Gupta added that they are also adopting healthier lifestyles by eating nutritious foods, exercising and following routines and sleep schedules.
