The Indian auction market, says Jay Sagar, jewellery expert at the AstaGuru Auction House, has witnessed a steady growth. Capitalising on this growing tribe of collectors, the auction house has chosen the festive season to put under the hammer finely executed jewellery of European design from influential movements like Art Deco. The collection will include gemstones, brooches and long ear pendants.

AstaGuru’s horology collection will include bejewelled watches, both vintage and modern, from celebrated luxury brands like Rolex, Audemars Piquet and Patek Philippe. “All the timepieces must pass through a multi-layered check for authenticity, condition and movement health,” says Jehangir Readymoney, Luxury Timepiece Expert at the AstaGuru Auction House.
