Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate 'Semicon India 2023', a premiere showcase of India's semiconductor capabilities and chip design innovation, on 28 July at Gandhinagar

The event is expected to bring together some of the biggest names in the semiconductor and technology industry and shed light on India's impressive progress towards fostering a global semiconductor manufacturing and design ecosystem.

With participation from prominent companies such as Foxconn, Micron, AMD, IBM, Marvell, Vedanta, LAM Research, NXP Semiconductors, and STMicroelectronics, 'Semicon India 2023' is expected to offer deep insights into cutting-edge technologies and innovations in chip-making.

The event is also scheduled to feature an exclusive exhibition inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on 25 July 2023. This exhibition will provide visitors with a comprehensive insight into the leading-edge technologies and innovations driving the semiconductor industry. For aspiring students, it presents a valuable opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing and explore potential career paths in this field.

Various dignitaries, including Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Railways, and Communication Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar, will be present at the event.
