Oracle Focuses On Leveraging Database With Security

A session on Digital Transformation through Autonomous at 5th BW Businessworld Digital India Summit and Awards by Debapriya Nandan, Senior Director & Head, Oracle India Private Limited focused on leveraging database with security. Artificial intelligence, blockchain and Internet of things have pedestaled the innovation in the information technology world.   

“In the era of change in information technology, Clouds plays an important role and in this day-to-day mundane, it resulted as a great innovation,” said Debapriya Nandan during the session.

Oracle claims supremacy in database. In future, there will be huge gap of manpower to manage the future threat. A recent study at Oracle revealed there are 85 per cent of breaches available with available patches for respective Oracle VM (OVM) software. 

While talking about how oracle imbibed innovation, Senior Director believes that, “By 2025, almost every cloud applications will absorb artificial intelligence. Automation will change the game of enterprising data management and interactions for managing customers by 50 and 85 per cent respectively.”

Emerging technologies have elevated through chatbots and intelligent apps. However, with more data usage comes high level security threats. To this he adds, “Highly automated security detects, responds and predicts sophisticated threats in order to protect the users information with highly automated ML- based security controls.”

He also announced the launch of ‘Oracle Cloud’ in India with its accessibility and utility that will be 99.995 per cent available by Oracle in less than 2.5 minutes per month.
